GET INVOLVED

It's Every Parents Forum

If you care for a child - Evelyn Parents Forum is for you.  If you have joined our Facebook group, benefited from this website, or visited Deptford Park Play Club (Moira's Place) then, to us, you are already part of the family!  The strength of Evelyn Parents Forum lies in us recognising we are stronger together, and we can all play our part.  Every little helps, from leading a sing-along to washing the dishes!

Volunteer With Us

More than money we need skilled people on the team.  Parents and carers often commit to helping out at Play Club once a week or so, taking on responsibility for a craft, cooking lunch, or cleaning at the end of the day (depending on the age and stage of their kids!)  This sort of commitment to pulling together is the lifeblood of Evelyn Parents Forum.  Without these regular acts of kindness and sacrifice the Play Club would have closed its doors long ago.  Please consider how you can be part of the team that serves others, as well as being regular visitor.

As a registered charity we also need a strong board of trustees who can advise on everything from financial management to supporting infant development, and how to make Deptford Park Play Club a sustainable part of our community for the long term. This is an equally valid way to share some of your time and talents for the benefit of all.

Please contact us today about volunteering!

Donate and Fundraise

There are so many ways that you can support Evelyn Parents Forum.  Your £1s and £2s add up! Anything else you're able to donate is always appreciated.

We're not all about raising money on our own either.  Members of EPF have organised a Big Brekkie and Table Top Sale splitting funds between Christian Aid and EPF, and a Hungry Caterpillar Event to support Action for Children, amongst other things.  If you have any bright ideas for fundraising and community events we'd love to hear more about them!

Community Partnership

We are keen to partner with lots of local organisations to provide more events and groups at Play Club, alongside the fantastic stay-and-play.  For example, we have hosted fantastic Healthy Toddler Cooking and Healthy Baby Weaning courses at the club and hope to do more.  We are also always looking for local children's entertainers, play workers, and educators to help with our programmes, including making joint funding bids.  We hope to host weekend community events too. Don't hesitate to get in touch if you see an opportunity for us to work together.
