EVELYN PARENTS FORUM
Who We Are
We think it is wrong for any parent or child to go through hard times alone. That is why the Evelyn Parents Forum was started, in 2008, to give families safe, welcoming play schemes where friendships could be made and parents could support each other. We've been sprinkling the community spirit and creating opportunities for local families to get involved in shaping their community ever since! In 2015 our volunteer parent/carer community stepped up to cover the day to day running of Deptford Park Play Club (previously the council-run Generation Play Club) ensuring it continued as a community space where families can come to play and learn together. It's inside the park and has indoor and covered outdoor play areas, lots of toys, resources and a sensory room.
The strength of Evelyn Parents Forum lies in us recognising we are stronger together. As families around Deptford and southeast London, our collective experience and wisdom is a great resource; and now we have a great home at Deptford Park Play Club. So don't be shy, whether it's a good day or bad. Play Club is a safe space to ask questions, share your experiences, and make friends. You are so very welcome!
